Why not use my cellphone hotspot as my main internet access?

I just found out that I have unlimited data on our plan so why am I paying extra for access when I can just use my hotspot?

Does anyone do this?

Proa and cons?
I've done it quite a bit, but I doubt that you have unlimited wireless hotspot capabilities. If you utilized USB tethering, then yes, provided you actually have unlimited 4G.

I normally just steal it from my neighbors....

There is usually a limit on mobile hot spots and high speed access, somewhere around 15 gb per billing cycle.

You still have unlimited after that but you have to reduce your speed to like 600kps. If you are still connecting at a higher speed to the hot spots you then get charged for it.
USB tethering has no limits on most plans.
