Why would the House need to explain what an impeachable offense is?

The House can impeach for anything it chooses to impeach on. It would be in their best interest to have a very valid reason. Historically it is very rare, as it should be. Elections are the remedy for presidents you hate. Jimmy Carter's Dept of Education sure let us down. And you wonder why people flee public education. CNN doesn't inform, it promotes left wing objectives.

You can indict a ham sandwich......but you look pretty dumb doing it.

I don't believe the Framers meant it to be a partisan Hit job. But Dems have ALWAYS acted this way. They started the Civil War because they LOST an election.

I don't think the current person occupying the Education Department is anything to brag about either. What has she done to make it better?

If hatred was the issue, sure. It is not.

FauxNews promotes right-wing objectives, along with many and varied right-wing fake news sources. Those do not bother you, of course.

Perhaps if you read the Federalist Papers on impeachment you would not need to "believe" something.

Ah the old Indict a ham sandwich cliche. Serious attorneys know it's tongue in cheek.

remember this.....

American's rank about 27th on education. It's not surprising that the the House has to essentially give the American people a civics lesson. At bit embarrassing. Yeah. But, until we address the partisan nature of the media trying to inform the average American isn't going to do any good.
so how can we believe that 50% of the public can be for impeachment when only 32% can name the three branches of government?
