Does impeachment include a conviction? Pelosi has ruled impeachment out without a realistic chance for a Senate conviction, similar to her position on impeaching Bush when she took the gavel in 2007. It's still a possibility since I expect Trump's position to continue to erode precipitously and today's Republicans have the loyalty of a weathervane.

I don't believe that any Senate Republican would vote to convict Trump -- no matter what the evidence. Susan Collins might hem and haw and hint that she would, but she wouldn't.

If I was Mueller I would go after the Trump brats and use them as leverage against their father.
Let's see how much he loves anyone besides himself.

He won't have to "go after" anyone. Evidence uncovered in the normal course of the investigation will incriminate them if they've committed any crimes. I'd be surprised to learn that they haven't.

Trump's immunity as president will last as long as his presidency… So his interest could be negotiating a plea deal, which would give him an oppportunity to have his memoirs written not in a cell but in his Florida estate….

I wait of course for the future Trump's Library in which you will find all the books Trump did really read and all the ones of which he is supposed to be the author whoever wrote them for him…. It will be smaller than the Library of Congress ?

It will be the same size as Forrest Gump's library...

I meant the above deal for Mueller to agree not to prosecute the Trump demon kids.
I think Trump has proven that a sitting criminal/dangerous president can and should be indicted in office.

No law or COTUS wording prevents this.
The Republican party never liked or endorsed Trump. When he was nominated by a fair, impartial party system, the Republicans were stuck with supporting him. Due to Trump's eccentricities and failures, that support is waning. I suspect the Republicans are waiting for Mueller to finish his investigation before seeking to use it as leverage for Trump to resign since, like with Nixon, it would be resign with honor or be impeached in disgrace....and see your kid go to jail.

Congressional oversight committees already know what is in Mueller's findings but they can't say anything except to advice their parties to "be patient".

It's be a combination library and casino with a few pamphlets on the many great things Trump did for our country. Entry will require a donation of $20/person, no discounts. Military and senior citizens pay an extra $5, but the fee is waived if they sign a card that says "Trump was the greatest President ever!"
